She creates a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore relationship patterns, communication challenges, emotional stress, life transitions, and the experiences that have shaped who they are. Alexandra works alongside clients with curiosity, compassion, and support as they move toward greater understanding, connection, and meaningful change.Counseling can be helpful when life, relationships, emotions, or family stress begin to feel overwhelming. I work with couples, families, older children ages 10 and up, teens, and individuals who may feel stuck, disconnected, unsure how to communicate, or uncertain about what needs to change. Therapy can be a space to slow down, better understand what is happening, and begin moving toward healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and meaningful growth.
I believe counseling is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and genuine connection. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable showing up as they are, without judgment. I take time to understand each client, couple, and family as unique, and together we work toward an approach that feels meaningful and supportive.
Working with Older Children and Teens
Older children and teens can experience big emotions, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, friendship stress, school pressure, family changes, identity questions, or difficulty expressing what they need. I work with children ages 10 and up and teens by creating a supportive space where they can feel heard, better understand themselves, and build healthier ways to cope with emotions and challenges.
My goal is to help older children and teens strengthen emotional awareness, confidence, communication, and coping skills so they can navigate daily life and relationships with more support and self-understanding.
Working with Couples and Families
I also work with couples and families who may feel stuck in repeated conflict, communication struggles, emotional distance, disconnection, or patterns that are hard to change. Many relationship and family challenges grow from misunderstandings, unmet needs, stress, or difficulty expressing emotions in ways that feel heard and understood.
Together, we work to slow things down, identify patterns, strengthen communication, and create healthier ways of connecting. My goal is to support couples and families as they move toward greater understanding, stronger relationships, and meaningful change.
Alexandra’s Approach to Therapy
My approach to counseling is person-centered, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that there is no one right way to grow or heal. I want to understand your unique experiences, needs, values, and goals rather than fitting you into a specific mold.
Throughout our work together, I may incorporate different evidence-based strategies depending on what feels most helpful. This may include building self-awareness, learning to navigate emotions in healthier ways, strengthening relationships, working through life transitions, or gaining confidence in making intentional choices.
Above all, I see counseling as a partnership. You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. My hope is to walk alongside you with warmth, encouragement, and curiosity as you work toward a life and relationships that feel more authentic and fulfilling.
